Our AAMU reception for freshman students, parents, and university alumni was a vibrant celebration of the Bulldog spirit that brought our community closer together.

Held on July 18, 2026, the event provided incoming freshmen with an exciting first glimpse into the rich traditions and supportive network waiting for them on campus. Parents had the valuable opportunity to connect with faculty and staff, easing their transitions as their children step into this major milestone.

Meanwhile, our dedicated university alumni shared inspiring stories of success, offering mentorship and encouragement to the next generation of leaders.

This unforgettable Masquerade Gala night was hosted by the Montgomery Area Chapter of the AAMU Alumni Association on April 10, 2026 at the ALOE Event Center in Montgomery, Alabama.

An elegant affair with music, dancing, delicious food, and dazzling masks - where guests came dressed to impress and to embrace the mystery and magic of the night.

=> All proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for students from the Montgomery Area attending Alabama A&M University, empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators.

Representing the AAMU Montgomery Alumni Chapter, Donald Clemons was honored as Alumnus of the Year, while Angelo Trimble received the prestigious William Hooper Councill Service Award.

The Montgomery Alumni Chapter had an exciting Football Mixer & Pep Rally at Brin’s Wings filled with music, games, raffles, and Bulldog spirit. Alumni, friends, and supporters came together to celebrate and rally for home games. Refreshments were available for purchase. This was a fun-filled afternoon of camaraderie, community, and Bulldog pride!
